Teacher Training Program with Core Dynamics Pilates
Michele Larsson founded Core Dynamics Pilates in 1996 to offer teacher training and continuing education workshops based on historical Pilates. Core Dynamics Pilates is a comprehensive Pilates curriculum based on sound bio-mechanical movement principles. The Core Dynamics Teacher Training Program is based upon the work of Joseph Pilates with additions made by Eve Gentry and Michele Larsson to facilitate the technique and enhance efficient movement patterns. This direct link to Joseph Pilates through Eve Gentry gives Michele an unique insight into the method, which she has incorporated into Core Dynamics Pilates.
Core Dynamics Teacher Training is a program that focuses on developing the ability to teach the individual versus just teaching the exercises or leading classes. The training participant will receive vital information and exposure to skills that can maximize the Pilates experience for a wide variety of clientele. Core Dynamics Pilates offers a unique "Boutique" program based on historical Pilates, with small class size, individual attention, mentorship experiences and highly qualified affiliate teacher trainers.
The Core Dynamics Teacher Training Program consists of intensive weekend workshops that focus on mat and equipment exercises. These workshops are offered at 6 locations around the country. The teacher trainee will also participate in self-directed study and mentorship to develop skills and knowledge for teaching group mat classes and individual Pilates lessons.
As a Core Dynamics student, You will learn:
- the concept behind the system of exercises
- historical Pilates exercises
